As we were a small, home-style producer, the quality spoke for itself. This raked in a lot of demand, which called for a milk processing plant in Gokul Shirgaon M.I.D.C, Kolhapur. With the growing impetus, we started mass production of milk byproducts like Shrikhand, Amrakhand, Basundi, and Paneer. and voila…. the brand Sphurti was born!The plant is well equipped with world class technology, machinery and highly qualified technical personnel like IDD's, Food Technologists, Quality Control Officers, Microbiologists etc. who tirelessly work to deliver the best quality, tasty and hygienic food.We are extremely conscious of manufacturing the best quality products, adhering to quality standards laid down by FSSAI. Milk collected at various chilling centers is brought to our plant where milk is clarified using high speed centrifugal clarifier. Right from when milk comes to the collection centres to consumer, the process from chilling and pasteurization to packing is highly sterile. The Milk packing is done by fully automated Nichrome FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) Machines. This ensures that there is no human touch to the product. Today this plant, with a Milk handling capacity of 1,50,000 litres/day, is equipped with different cold storages for different products with varying storage temperatures of 0-4oC for milk and temperatures of -20oC for various value added milk products. The plant is equipped with a blast freezing technology which ensures fast cooling of the product therefore enhancing their shelf life. #Punepanda #gulkandbasundi
